Constellis Group Announces New Leadership

Reston, VA - Constellis Group, Inc., a leading provider of security, support and advisory services to government, multinational corporations and international organizations operating in challenging environments around the world, welcomes Brigadier General (Ret.) Craig Nixon as Chief Executive Officer. Constellis Group’s leadership team will also include Doug Lee as Chief Financial Officer, Juliet Protas as Chief Legal Officer, and Ray Randall as Chief Operating Officer.

Constellis Group brings together the specialized skills and operational excellence of ACADEMI Training Center, Triple Canopy, Strategic Social, Tidewater Global Services, National Strategic Protective Services, and International Development Solutions. The combination of these companies, completed in late July 2014, expands the suite of services available to clients in need of security, training, mission support and advisory services around the globe.

Nixon will take the reins of Constellis Group after successfully leading ACADEMI in its trusted support of government clients as well as its continued growth into commercial and foreign markets. Nixon brings not only private sector experience but also a decorated 29-year career in the U.S. Army, including serving as the Deputy Director of Operations at U.S. Central Command, Director of Operations at U.S. Special Operations Command and Commander of the 75th Ranger Regiment during combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Doug Lee will lead the financial operations of Constellis Group, bringing more than 20 years of financial experience to the company, including 3 years as CFO of ACADEMI. Juliet Protas joins Constellis Group with 19 years of executive experience, 11 of which were as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Triple Canopy and its affiliates. Ray Randall will take the role of Chief Operating Officer with over 30 years of business and military experience, including his experience as Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Triple Canopy.

Constellis Holdings’ Board of Directors includes: Red McCombs (Chairman), former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, former White House Chief Counsel Jack Quinn, Admiral Bobby Inman (Ret.), Russ Robinson, Jason DeYonker, Dean Bosacki and Triple Canopy co-founder Tom Katis.
