High Risk Warrant Service

About This Course

As criminals become more aggressive and willing to use violent means to resist law enforcement, training in High Risk Warrant Service can save officers’ lives. ACADEMI’s High Risk Warrant Service course prepares law enforcement agents to plan and execute warrant service, fugitive apprehension, search warrant and similar high risk operations in ways that reduce the risk to officers and the community. Using tactics from current SWAT/CERT/SRT operations, the High Risk Warrant Service course establishes key weapons skills applicable to close quarters battle and working within a team environment. As a student progresses into practical entry and room clearing, team roles are rotated throughout the class members to improve understanding of each team member’s role and allow everyone to be exposed to leadership positions as well. Students will be challenged with situations and exercises that will create a solid foundation of skills to be integrated into tactical team. This course is open to all officers that conduct warrant service, fugitive apprehension, SWAT operations and drug search warrants, that are in need of a good basis of understanding of basic entry and room clearing tactics. The course format focuses on practical training including both live fire exercises and force-on-force exercises with realistic marking rounds. ACADEMI’s High Risk Warrant course is instructed by law enforcement instructors with years of special operations experience in large police forces, as well as extensive experience in providing all levels of firearms and tactical training.
