Counter Terrorism Driving

About This Course

This 2-day course is designed to provide classroom and practical training on observation skills and driving techniques used by protective security professionals to identify and evade terrorist and criminal threats in a tactical environment. The training emphasizes the importance of being mentally prepared to evaluate situations and to react in an effective manner. Each student learns to use their vehicle as a means of escape from a variety of ambush and assault scenarios. The subjects covered provide students with driving skills to identify, assess and evade possible hostile actions by terrorists, criminals or other threats. The training day is 80 percent hands-on experience in provided training vehicles and includes metal-to-metal contact while driving for the most effective, realistic training.
