Dean Bosacki is a director of ACADEMI and co-founder and Managing Partner of Manhattan Partners, sharing overall responsibility for all management and investing activities of the firm. As an investment professional and an entrepreneur, his investment experience includes eight years of LBO, and he was previously a Managing Director of Friend Skoler & Co., a $231 million buyout fund focused on consumer products and business services companies. He also worked with an early-stage venture capital firm and with the international acquisitions team of a Fortune 500 company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bosacki was an entrepreneur, forming several successful companies that manufactured and distributed products in the action sports and residential housing industries.
Mr. Bosacki earned his MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia. Previously, he was a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, holding a President's Honor Role standing.
